Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake by Lorinser

Lorinser, a renowned tuner based in the south of Germany, has been developing and manufacturing products for personalising Mercedes vehicles from as far back as 1981. Their latest creation, which we are about to introduce, is a tuning package for the already quite impressive Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake that includes a new body kit as well as some significant performance upgrades.
The aesthetics of the model got enhanced by an oversized spoiler, newly designed front and rear bumpers, larger side sills and a new exhaust system with quad tailpipes. To top it off and make the CLS Shooting Brake even more threatening, Lorinser adds a set of either 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with over-sized tires, whose size ranges between 255/35 ZR19 and 255/30 ZR20 at the front and 285/30 ZR19 and 295/25 ZR20 at the rear. Moreover, compared to the standard setting, ride height has been lowered by 25 mm.
As usual, the interior can be customized according to the tastes of each buyer by the addition of elegant and/or sport-oriented details. The two engines of the range also received a remarkable injection of oomph: 3.5-liter V6 petrol unit of the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY gains 16 hp thus reaching a total output of 322 hp, with peak torque that went from 370 Nm up to to 400 Nm, whereas the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine powering the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY will count on 305 hp and 695 Nm, meaning +40 hp and + 75 Nm over the standrad model. Just for your information, the styling package along comes with a 6,176 € price-tag.
