The company is working on a new Audi supercar, who would be able to compete with such cars as the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder and the successor of Ferrari Enzo. The new model will be an order of magnitude higher than the current Audi R8 and will be called R10. "Audi" is planning to equip the novelty powerful diesel-hybrid power plant for reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and increase efficiency of engines.
According to preliminary data Audi R10 receive technical stuffing, which is similar to filling a racing car R18 e-throne. Car won the 24-hour race at Le Mans 2012. Together in 8 – or 10-cylinder diesel engine, car will be powered by a pair of electric motors installed on the front axle. In addition, supercar receive a collection system of braking energy, which is then used for the needs of electric motors.
